NEWS AT MORAY FIRTH SCHOOL

Taster Day for prospective pupils
12 February 2010

We're pleased to anounce our annual TASTER DAY on 12th February 2010.

Children considering becoming pupils at Moray Firth School could enjoy being one for a day!

If they are at a stage for Junior School (P2-4), they can join us from 0900-1200.

If they are at a stage for Middle School (P5-S2), they can join us from 0900-1530, bringing a packed lunch with them.

Places are free but must be booked.  Find out more at VISIT OUR SCHOOL.

Open as usual for Winter Term!
11 January 2010

We opened as usual on Monday 11th January, despite the snow.  But because of it, we should like to ask parents and visitors to note that our car park is currently out of action because of heavy snow: instead, you are asked to follow our KEEP LEFT, ONE WAY circuit around the school building.  There is limited parking just now, so during this wintry weather we can all help each other by dropping off and collecting children as quickly as possible.

We'd like to say a special Thank You to one of our great mums, Amanda, who with her business partner Jim sent a snow plough today to clear the ground around the school, making life for drivers a lot easier!  No more digging out our cars, everyone!

After School and Saturday pupils and their families please note: we'll be glad to have this Term's fees paid at the Office on your first visit.  There are FIVE WEEKS from now until February 13th, after which we close for a week, re-opening on Monday 22nd.

Christmas Ceilidh
18 December 2009

Our Christmas Ceilidh, at which not only our full-time pupils but our Saturday Stars also perform, takes place on Friday 18th December from 7pm at Merkinch Community Centre.  Tickets are sold out and we now have a waiting list for returns.  Another fun night is ahead!
