FEES
Moray Firth School is a non-profit making charitable trust. In other words, all fee income is for the benefit of pupils and the educational package we offer. Pupils can enjoy full-time or part-time education, the latter of particular interest to home-educating families. Small fees are charged to visiting children for our After-School Activities, all of which are taught by well-qualified Staff (free to our full-time pupils).
FEES AND DISCOUNTS
Modest fees include wrap-around care 0800-1800 daily -
very popular with working parents!

Middle School £8,220
Yes, you read it right ... these are ANNUAL fees, not termly! They include after-school care worth around £50-£75 per week. Our School is extremely cost-conscious, there are no hidden "extras" and an essential extras such as field trips are charged at cost.
Most Parents appreciate our easier-on-the-budget monthly payments:
-
£580(Junior School)
-
£685(Middle School)
But some prefer to pay annually in advance and enjoy a 2% discount for this.
Family Discounts
Alterations
If we change our fees, we give Parents three months' notice.
If families leave, we ask Parents to give us the same amount of notice.
"Extras"
No hidden extras! We ask Parents to pay for their children's textbooks (many provided in Junior School) and supply pens and pencils and similar small materials, and dress their children in standard inexpensive uniform. We warmly recommend Embroidery Designs, an excellent local firm, but Parents can buy uniform items at their choice of supplier.
We run annual Field Trips, at cost, whenever possible (dependent on our lovely Staff volunteering to help!). These are encouraged but not compulsory. Some Visits, such as trips to the Theatre, are entirely optional and, again, charged at cost. We often take our Juniors on local visits to illuminate their understanding of our curriculum and such visits are not charged.
Parents may request additional tuition, such as Music lessons, for which they pay their Tutor direct.
Future fees
In our short history, we've managed either to maintain the same fees or increase by not more than 7%, well under the average increase for Independent Schools (and indeed the rising costs of the state system).
Annual Fees for our future Senior School which opens in 2010 have not yet been set but are likely to be in the region of £9,000+.
Deposits
In common with almost all Independent Schools, we ask parents to pay a deposit, equivalent to about one quarter of annual fees, on enrolment. This is held, interest-free, until credited against the final balance due when a child completes his term of education at our School.
