OUR POPULAR AND SUCCESSFUL STAGE SCHOOL, SATURDAY STARS, HAS MOVED ... TO THE IRONWORKS.
Christmas Show: Saturday 18 December.

We had a wonderful eight years at Moray Firth School - but we're now so popular, we've outgrown ourselves!     So we have moved to a great new "home" at THE IRONWORKS, Inverness.  Loads of space for our dance, drama and singing classes and a fantastic performance space for our Shows twice a year. Thank you, Ironworks, we're enjoying your company!

If you don't already know Saturday Stars, you'll want to know that we run three skills classes - dance, drama and singing - for three age groups from 5-16.  Children are placed in a group partly according to age but mainly according to experience and confidence.  We want to get it right for each child and this flexibility allows the children to feel comfortable from the start and grow quickly in confidence: it's not unusual for children to move up a group in the course of a session.

WE LIMIT GROUP NUMBERS TO 20, so that each child gets plenty of individual attention.   Children can join:

• Twinkle Stars (lower primary)
• Shooting Stars (upper primary, possibly S1)
• SuperStars (secondary, possibly P7).  

Our wonderful CLUB COACHES are

• Nicky MacKay (Dance)
• Nicola MacAskill (Drama)
• Andrea Turner (Singing). 

 They're all greatThyThey are all great performers themselves, as well as experienced and well-qualified coaches.  

Two fabulous SHOWS a year attract big audiences and while Saturday Stars is a truly nurturing environment for future stars of stage and screen, its real strength is the terrific confidence boost it gives all its pupils.  With some of our children loyal and happy fans for up to seven years, don't you think your child could benefit too? 

Saturday Stars meets from 10am (prompt!) until 1pm: children bring a snack and a drink for break, and wear loose or stretchy trousers/leggings and lightweight trainers or dance pumps.  Saturday Stars T-shirt is provided and must be worn to classes.

FEES are modest at just £15 for three hours of high-quality teaching and learning.   Discounts are available for siblings (and pupils of Moray Firth School). 

We ask new members to REGISTER at a one-off cost per family of £20 which includes your Saturday Stars T-shirt (and a new one when you outgrow the old!), handbook, scripts and lots of other stuff you'll need for Shows and rehearsals.  

Want to TASTE before you enrol?  You are welcome to do so.  However, on 4th September so many Twinkle Stars and Shooting Stars turned up for Tasters that if they all now enrol, we shall be starting a waiting list for new arrivals.  We have some spaces in our SuperStars group (secondary).  DON'T DELAY!  ENROL TODAY!
