 Welcome to our Middle School!

Our Middle School educates children from Years 5-9, that's the Scottish Primary 5 to Secondary 2, thus avoiding any gap between primary and secondary and providing a seamless curriculum for these important years.

All subjects are taught by specialist teachers throughout, allowing able children to progress as far and as fast as they wish and bringing lots of knowledge and enthusiasm to all our pupils.

We are developing a unique curriculum which we believe to be both exciting and innovative.  We take our pupils on a World Tour: back into pre-history but concentrating on the last 5,000 years (The Old World) and in particular on the most recent 500 years of World History.  Geography is intimately linked to this.  And as we "travel" in time and around the World geographically, other subjects are linked to the global theme as closely as is sensible: Art for example may be inspired by Classical art when we're studying The Classical World or by colourful African patterns when we're studying The New World.

We haven't attempted here to give you full details but we hope this overview will sum it up for you.  Ask if you want to know more!
